Source For Horse Sponsors North 49 Farriers

Source For Horse is pleased to announce that we will be the official National sponsor of North 49. North 49 is a not-for-profit organization that puts on farrier contests and clinics across Canada with an emphasis on education. Currently, there are five contests in Western Canada with a free Winter clinic to wind up the year. North 49 venues come equipped with ten coke fire stations and all the top-of-the-line hardware from Gene Lieser Vices to Scott Anvils on top of heavy-duty Anvil Stands. Steel, Nails and Keg Shoes are all supplied to competitors as needed, and there will be some of the best prizes the industry has ever seen for those who practice hard and finish well.

North 49 has designed this outfit so that anyone can jump in and get involved at any skill level. It doesn't matter if you're jumping into division 1 for your first time or you are a fierce competitor in the Open division with years of experience. The competitors/members just have to bring their shoeing and forging tools which makes travel a lot nicer and gets more people involved.

Not only is Source For Horse honoured to support such a great avenue to learn, compete and bring our industry together, but we see the importance of preserving our trade, giving back to the farrier community and supporting an initiative that provides a healthy environment for farriers of all skill sets to grow and be as successful as possible.
